about me

My name is Luke Macy! I’m a User Experience specialist, which means that I know how to translate your vision for your key demographics’ experience into reality. My approach is empathetic yet research-driven, yielding clear, actionable data on how to optimize your product for your particular strategy.

In 2017 I graduated from the University of Edinburgh with an MA in Philosophy, and I’m set to graduate from DePaul University with a MSc in Human-Computer Interaction in July 2021.

Between degrees, I worked as a Philosophy lecturer and as a Junior Manufacturing Engineer.

In my spare time, I enjoy cooking, volunteering, continuous learning, boxing, and trail running with my dog.

I knew that my ideal career would be empathetic, creative, analytically rigorous, and socially conscientious. I also hoped for something that tied in with my fascination with computers, visual art, and human cognition.

I didn’t reasonably expect to find a career that united all of these characteristics, but ultimately I did in UX. I’m thrilled to be able to help you create joyful experiences in the world!
